KADE is a Polish coffee company. The areas of our activity are raw coffee import and distribution, production of select roasted coffee and professional training. We concentrate on the coffee market segment where the highest quality is required.

We pay a lot of attention to the quality of imported coffee beans. It requires a vast knowledge of the subject, because there are no uniform quality standards for coffee beans; many coffee-producing countries apply their own principles concerning e.g. defect counting. It is also worth knowing that there are differences in preparation of coffee destined for American and European markets. In our branch a vast knowledge of coffee transport and storage is also required. Coffee beans are a fairly stable product as long as they are transported, stored and kept in appropriate conditions. Coffee trade is also a very specific one; coffee is a product of exchange. Robusta is being traded in London (LIFFE: The London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange) and arabica in New York (CSCE: Coffee, Sugar and Cocoa Exchange). To feel at ease with all those requirements, we have to visit the plantations, maintain professional contacts, be a member of coffee organizations and participate in the events connected with coffee. We have been doing it for many years, and the knowledge and experience we have gathered allowed us to assemble and keep over 100 kinds of coffee beans in our warehouses in Gdynia. We are one of those few, if not the only company in Poland that offers such a vast choice of raw coffee, available in every moment. Our offer is aimed at every coffee roasting plant.

Our company produces roasted coffee; an appropriate roasting process and the freshness of coffee beans are our greatest concerns. It should be kept in mind that coffee roasting begins a process in which ingredients that are crucial for coffee aroma and taste are gradually lost. This process can't be stopped by any kind of packaging, only slowed down, and that is why it's so important for the time between the coffee production and consumption to be the shortest possible. We address our offer to those for whom the high quality and freshness of coffee is crucial, i.e. professional coffeeshops, restaurants, bars and colonial shops. Possessing the experience and knowledge, professional laboratories and resources (over 100 kinds of raw coffee) we are prepared to take non-standard, individual orders. We create custom blends and mix the beans according to given samples (matching). We are able to make practically any coffee product that our clients wish to have.

Through many years, our team has acquired considerable knowledge about coffee. In response to the market demand, we provide our clients with advisory and training services; we consult the projects of companies which want to introduce a higher quality coffee to the market. Some major and well-known companies have trusted us in this matter. Our training offer comprises conveying knowledge of raw and roasted coffee, coffee roasting process and quality controls of the primary commodities as well as final products. Another branch of our training focuses on barista's skills and is destined for companies and individuals. The need for professionals in this domain is growing rapidly because of the unusual dynamics of coffee industry. What is more, we undertake uncommon training requests, such as training for the employees of institutions of food control or training on very specific, interesting subjects such as coffee falsification.
